On October 9, 2021, Witty Writers’ World hosted the second edition of Writers Converge at Alliance Française Ibadan.
Writers Converge is an initiative of Witty Writers’ World created to provide a space where young and emerging writers can meet, develop their skills, share ideas, and grow within a supportive creative community.
About Writers Converge 2.0
The second edition of Writers Converge was themed “Your Art, Your Influence.” The theme challenged participants to look beyond creativity simply as a means of personal expression and consider the influence their words, stories, and ideas can have on society.
The gathering provided room for conversations, learning, networking, and the sharing of ideas among writers who were passionate about developing their craft and making their voices count. The conversations also explored how writers can use their talents and platforms to inspire people and contribute positively to their communities.
