When Opportunity Meets Preparedness
Some of the things we often attribute to “luck” are, in reality, examples of opportunities meeting with preparedness.
Take the story of David, for instance. A young shepherd boy with no intention of making history casually walked into a battlefield to deliver food to his brothers in the army. What started as a simple errand turned into a moment that changed his life forever. That same day, he faced Goliath, the giant warrior who had paralyzed an entire army with fear. Was David lucky? I would say, “NO.” David didn’t just show up and win by chance. He was prepared for that moment long before it came.
Preparation, no matter how simple or overlooked, can lead to great outcomes when the right opportunity arises.
Dear friend, while you wait for your moment to shine, keep building your capacity. When the opportunity comes, let it find you prepared.
